Ben Schwartz wins 6 silver and bronze medals!
Genbu-Kai Florida brings home 6 medals!
February 14-21, Sensei Moore and adult intermediate student Ben Schwartz traveled to Santa Ana, California to participate in 47th annual championship weekend hosted by Shihan Fumio Demura.
The events included seminars and a two-day tournament including Karate, Kobudo and Batto-Do.
The tournaments totaled more than 300 competitors, and Ben brought home silver and bronze medals in all divisions he competed in:
Karate Kata – 3rd
Karate Kumite – 3rd
Kobudo Kata – 2nd
Kobudo Kumite – 3rd
Batto Kata – 3rd
Batto Cutting – 3rd
