Morikami Hatsume Fair

Celebrating the first bud of spring, Morikami’s largest annual event, Hatsume Fair (April 16 & 17, 2016), transforms the normally tranquil Morikami Park into a unique Japanese spring festival featuring three stages (with taiko drumming, martial arts demos, samurai sword fighting performances, Japanese dance performances and our annual costume and fashion show contest), avenues of artisan booths, plant sales, Japanese street fair food vendors and children’s activities.
