Face Book Post – February 2017 from a Dojo wife

2014 at the age of 36 is man had double bypass surgery. On day my husband was going in for knee surgery. They cancelled that surgery saying we needed to see a cardiologist we found out he needed double bypass surgery, had a left bundle branch block and diabetes. What a shock. Months after surgery he went to California to compete and test. (As he does every year ). Last year we moved from the place I have called home for over 40 years, and he has lived since the age of 13. He opened up his own dojo and trains with an amazing man we are proud to call our friend, Dave Jones. I am so proud of his determination, willingness to work hard and the fact he believes in himself and he’s following his dream.
I would like to thank Ron for standing by him and being his friend without question and to Keith Moore who not only introduced him to his dream but is the reason my husband is alive ( the reason he was having surgery on his knee in the first place)
Thank you to all the people who helped him along the way from the Florida dojo without you he wouldn’t be where he is today. Karin Ralston Moore this includes you, too. Please tag everyone to let them know how much we appreciate them.
