Our Sincerest Condolences

We are deeply saddened by the news of Soke Kenei Mabuni’s passing (2nd Sōke and son of Shito-Ryu Founder, Kenwa Mabuni). Mr. Mabuni passed away on December 19, 2015 at the age of 97 in Osaka, Japan. He was born on February 13, 1918 in Shuri, Okinawa.

Soke Mabuni frequently visited Demura Sensei’s, and taught him  much valuable information.

We extend our deepest condolences to Soke Kenei Mabuni’s family, friends and students on the loss of your teacher. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
